Grants of up to $25,000 to USA schools to purchase eligible playground equipment to help children stay active during recess and perform better during school hours. The purpose of funding is for schools to design recess equipment to fit unique budgets and spaces. Awarded funds can only be applied toward purchase of an eligible play system or designed course. Amount of awarded funding is dependent on the cost of the play system and/or course components.

Studies show students who are active during recess perform better in class. Each of the eligible play systems is designed to help students stay active during play.

Funding for Challenge Course
Create a fun, friendly space where children of all ages will enjoy competing with one another or against the clock. A Challenge Course to fit particular spaces and budgets may be designed. Challenge Course Youth components are designed for ages 5 to 12, Pro components are designed for ages 13 and up.
