Funding is intended to support applicants facing financial damage from a reduction in milk production following diagnosed illness in their dairy cows. This program is intended to offset losses suffered as a result of H5N1 infection.

Grants of up to $10,000 and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International scholars representing Indigenous communities for efforts to record, preserve, and bring to life Indigenous cultures, languages, and knowledge systems. Funding is intended to increase access to the Smithsonian’s diverse collections - archival, biological, and cultural - in support of interdisciplinary research aimed at language and knowledge documentation and revitalization.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA public charitable organizations in eligible watershed regions for projects that preserve and enhance oceanic ecosystems, improve water quality, and protect the environment. The purpose of this program is to help small worthy causes raise awareness and visibility.

Funding is intended to support a range of services and programs including, but not limited to, therapeutic and recreational activities, career training and education, rehabilitation programs, shelters for the homeless, and the supply of mobility items.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for research projects on topics related to children's welfare and parenting. Funding is intended for original projects that have the potential to benefit infants and children. Focus areas include parenting practices and education, early childhood education and play, and early childhood welfare.

Award of up to $5,000 to a USA, Canada, or International undergraduate activist in recognition of exceptional activities that promote the preservation of freshwater and marine resources. Eligible nominees have championed their cause and garnered peer support throughout the school year. In addition to the monetary prize, the winner will also receive mentorship from MCN and be partners for the academic year.

Grants of up to $75,000 to USA, Canada, and International researchers at for-profit and nonprofit institutions for research projects on psoriasis. Proposed projects should advance the understanding or treatment of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, or related comorbidities. Funding is intended for proof-of-concept experiments and preliminary research. The goal is to stimulate the development of new research programs in the field of psoriatic disease capable of competing for long-term funding from the National Institutes of Health or similar agencies in the future.

Grants to Maine and New Hampshire nonprofit organizations for programs to benefit residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended to improve the quality of life and enhance the vitality of local communities. Eligible programs are those serving residents and communities in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire, and Fryeburg and Bridgeton, Maine.

Grants and loans to USA and territories agencies, IHEs, public power entities, and rural electric cooperatives to assist rural small businesses and agricultural producers in evaluating their energy efficiency. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete.

Grants of $500 and grants of $1,000 to USA and territories nonprofit organizations, government agencies, IHEs, and school districts for gardening programs for children and youth. Funding is intended to support the creation or expansion of green spaces and gardens that serve 15 or more youth in communities across the country.

Grants to USA, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands nonprofit community development and housing organizations, Tribes, and Tribal housing entities and authorities serving rural areas to strengthen the capacity to implement housing programs for low-income residents. Funding is intended to enhance the capacity and ability to carry out affordable housing and community development activities that benefit low- and moderate-income families and persons.

Grants of up to $500 and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International women entrepreneurs to enhance business or organizational development. Funding is intended to support the improvement, expansion, and strengthening of organizations and businesses that impact families, girls, and women throughout the world. Requests will be accepted from women working in any field.

Residencies to USA artists to create original artistic work on a nature reserve in Wyoming. The goal of the program is to increase the public's appreciation for and understanding of national parks. Applications are welcome from a variety of creative individuals, including writers, sculptors, musicians, composers, photographers, culinary and performing artists, and painters. This residency will take place at Bighorn Canyon National Park in Lovell, Wyoming.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International investigators affiliated with host institutions for research related to psoriasis. Funding is intended to help scientific discoveries transition more quickly into treatments that clearly benefit patients living with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International graduate students and postdoctoral investigators for research projects addressing psoriasis. Funding is intended to enable applicants to eventually compete for larger grants and to position themselves to establish successful long-term careers conducting psoriatic disease research. The goal of this award is to support scientists at this challenging early career stage and to welcome them into the collaborative community of scientists, clinicians, and patients involved with NPF research.

Grants of up $3,000 to USA, Canada, and International organizations and individuals for the protection and preservation of wildlife and habitats. Funding is intended for a range of projects, including education, research, and habitat management. Special consideration will be given to projects in line with the Zoo's mission, conservation goals, and species represented at the Zoo and to local research and conservation projects.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, local and state government agencies, and public schools to benefit local communities in the funding source's service area. Priority is given to programs that provide services to individuals with low- to moderate-income and to underserved populations. Programs must benefit regions served by TD Bank, including regions in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington DC.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International institutions to create a fellowship for research careers and medical training. Funding is intended to support researchers in the fields of academic dermatology and rheumatology. Priority consideration will be given to applications that advance psoriatic disease research. Funds must be applied toward stipend, salary, and fringe benefits.

Fellowships of $85,000 to USA, Canada, and International journalists for original projects and research in the area of digital progress in media. The Fellowship is intended to offer an experience at a prestigious university to learn and collaborate on activities that address digital transformation in journalism. The Nieman-Berkman Klein Fellowship in Journalism Innovation brings individuals to Harvard University to work on a specific course of research or a specific project relating to journalism innovation.

Fellowship to a USA doctoral candidate for research projects related to disability or retirement. Proposals are encouraged from applicants in all academic disciplines, especially those from underserved or underrepresented backgrounds. The purpose of the program is to improve the quality of scholarship in this field of studies and to promote the next generation in retirement or disability policy research.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals and organizations for projects that raise awareness about issues related to animal rights. Eligible projects may be artistic or academic in nature. Priority will be given to new applicants. Grants are awarded in three categories: creativity, performance, or research.

Scholarships to USA American Indian and Alaska Native college and high school students to study disciplines related to agriculture, natural resources, and food. Applicants must attend an eligible college or university. In addition to the scholarships, students will also engage in paid work experience that leads to employment at the USDA. Applicants must attend one of the 35 federally recognized tribal colleges and universities.

Grants of up to $20,000 to USA and France nonprofit organizations for cultural and artistic exchanges. Funding is intended for dance-based projects such as tours, presentations, series, and joint productions. Grants may be used for production-related expenses, such as travel, equipment rentals, housing, per diem, and visa fees.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA nonprofit organizations, for-profits, healthcare and assisted living facilities, and rehab centers for community programs and projects that benefit individuals with Parkinson's disease. Focus areas include mental health, exercise, and supporting care partners of individuals with PD.

Grants to USA middle schools for music education programs that have a community service component. Students at recipient schools will provide at least three musical performances to seniors in the local community, interacting with them during and/or following each performance. The main purpose of the program is to develop emotional and social intelligence in students through public service activities rendered to members of the community.

Opportunity for USA and Puerto Rico undergraduate students at IHEs to participate in a summer internship program related to earth sciences. Selected students will receive a cash stipend, accommodations, and transportation support, and gain first-hand research experience using a research aircraft to collect data during the eight-week program. Eligible research areas include atmospheric chemistry, air quality, forest ecology, and ocean biology.

Grants to USA grape and wine researchers for research projects related to the wine industry. Funding is intended to support projects addressing a wide range of focus areas, including enology; grapevine pest and disease management; breeding and genetics; education and outreach; and cultural practices. Grants to USA nonprofit organizations to advance diversity in the fields of entrepreneurship and investments. The goal of the grant program is to facilitate progress in diversifying entrepreneurship and empowering a more diverse group of investors through knowledge and financial literacy.

Fellowship of $5,000 to a USA Ph.D. candidate for research in the field of philanthropic studies. Funding is intended to support research and writing that will expand understanding of gender differences in philanthropy and women's philanthropy. Eligible applicants are scholars whose primary research focus is in the area of women’s philanthropy or gender differences in philanthropic behavior and giving.

Grants to USA organizations for culturally appropriate programs to improve the health of Native American populations. The purpose of the program is to reduce chronic illness through management, prevention, and educational initiatives. Priority will be given to programs that address obesity prevention, commercial tobacco use prevention and cessation, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and oral disease.

Grants to USA and territories small specialty crop businesses to offset expenses related to safety regulations and requirements. Funding is intended for on-farm food safety program expenses, including certification receipt or renewal, as well as related costs. Applicants may receive reimbursement for developing an initial food safety plan, maintaining or updating an existing food safety plan, food safety certification, certification upload fees, microbiological testing, and training.

Grants to USA and territories organizations for programs to benefit individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Funding is intended for activities that increase the availability of specialized services by strengthening the workforce in that area. Eligible activities include internship programs, training, professional development, and hiring new staff.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA organizations for projects to expand eligible wheelchair sports programs. Funding is intended for a variety of programming needs, including but not limited to court time, coaching, events, tournaments, camps, and equipment. Priority is given to programs that plan to attract new junior players to wheelchair tennis.

Award of $10,000 to a USA journalist to recognize significant efforts in reporting on local issues. Eligible entries are those related to the environment, science, technology, and public health. The award is intended for pieces that have appeared in local and regional media outlets.

Fellowships of $1,000 per week and grants of $500 per week to USA, Canada, and International doctoral candidates for historical research projects. Funds may be used to defray the cost of travel and commuting to a designated Virginia museum, where the studies will be conducted. The purpose of the program is to support research studies in a range of sociological and historical focus areas, in order to promote the interpretation of Virginia history and access to its collections.

Grants of up to $30,000 to USA, Canada, and International researchers for research projects related to Gorlin syndrome. The purpose of the program is to advance knowledge about potential treatments and cures for the disease and to enhance the quality of life for those affected by it.

Grants of up to $1,500 and grants of up to $10,000 to Maine nonprofit organizations to improve the lives of residents in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support high-impact projects and programs in the focus areas of economic security, health and safety, housing, youth development, and food security. Programs must benefit residents of Knox County and the Town of Lincolnville.

Grants of up to $2,500 to USA freelance journalists to research and write pieces of investigative journalism. Funding is intended to conduct preliminary reporting that will lead to full investigations. Funding may be used for initial reporting trips and open-records requests.

Grants and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and Mexico cities for outdoor visual arts projects. Funding is intended to cover costs associated with public art on pedestrian spaces, roadways, and public infrastructure. In addition to a cash grant, applicants will also receive on-call technical assistance from the tactical urbanism firm Street Plans and impact evaluation support from Sam Schwartz Consulting.

Grants of $10,000 to USA nonprofit organizations and government entities for capacity-building projects to benefit local communities. Funding is intended to support projects and programs in a variety of focus areas, including education and training, health and wellbeing, and expanding access to food and shelter.

Cooperative agreements to USA nonprofit and for-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, and government agencies for oceanographic research projects. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. The proposed activities should provide for expanded OA observational and experimental capabilities of repeated oceanographic research cruises to better achieve the strategic aims of the program.

Grants of $1,750 to USA high schools serving low-income families to develop community service programs for students. Funding is intended to cover compensation for staff supervision. The purpose of the program is to foster compassion, empathy, and self-esteem in participating students.

Awards to USA, Canada, and International individuals to recognize exceptional contributions to the field of air quality and climate change. Selected award winners are honored for transformative achievements in advancing environmental policy goals and environmental justice, or furthering research, education, science, and technology. Awards honor those with international accomplishments as well as those who have acted locally.

Grants to USA teachers, counselors, and educators to purchase classroom equipment, materials, and supplies. The purpose of the program is to provide students in grades 6-12 with knowledge about career opportunities in the TV and film entertainment industry. Eligible applicants and their students will watch a webinar featuring entertainment professionals who speak about their careers and offer advice for aspiring media professionals. Grants may be used for classroom needs, including media or technology equipment or other classroom needs.

Fellowships to USA and Canada K-12 and IHE faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars from underrepresented backgrounds to conduct research projects at an institution in Greece. In addition to the research projects, fellows will have the opportunity to join the academic programs at the school. Fellowships will take place at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.

Award to a USA, Canada, or International individual, group of individuals, or organization in recognition of substantial advances in seeking climate change solutions. The purpose of the award is to encourage and reward the pursuit of sustainable long-term results that could strengthen communities facing the effects of climate change, helping them to adapt and build resilience at a local level. It supports scalable solutions that will have real impact nationally and globally.

Grants of up to $10,000 to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations for programs and projects to alleviate hunger. Funding is intended to support activities that focus on nutrition education, food rescue, and direct food assistance. Programs may include but are not limited to community efforts such as meal assistance programs for children, families, and seniors, food banks, and food pantries.

Grants of up to $10,000 to USA, Canada, and Mexico nonprofit organizations, colleges and universities, government agencies, and laboratories to cover expenses related to conferences, scientific meetings, and workshops that address aging. Funding is intended to support activities that reflect the Foundation's mission to drive efforts to extend healthy human lifespan and understand the processes of aging.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA and Canada individuals who have suffered severe injuries for adaptive equipment and expenses related to their recovery. Funding is intended for individuals who have been injured while participating in sports activities, veterans injured while serving, and individuals who have experienced a life-changing injury so that they can continue to pursue sports activities.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations to further the instruction of integrative medicine. The purpose of funding is to help medical schools and residency programs expand educational programming that teaches integrative medicine. Funding is intended to train medical students, physicians, and healthcare professionals.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations focused on housing issues for projects that will benefit the local community. Eligible nonprofits must be nominated by a title industry professional. Applicants should have a proven history of community service projects, in particular projects related to housing.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA nonprofit organizations to support projects that benefit local communities. Funding is intended for projects in a wide range of areas including the arts, economic development, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, education, health and wellness, and STEAM.

Opportunity for USA coalitions of CBOs, agencies, labor organizations, and clean energy employers to address a clean energy workforce development challenge. Funding is intended to strengthen ties between various stakeholders in an effort to increase the number of people able to attain a good job in clean energy.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, hospitals, families, and individuals for activities that benefit local communities. Funding is intended for projects and programs in the areas of recreation, education, medical research, and medical needs. Funds may be used for general support or operating expenses as well as for specific projects.

Awards to USA and Canada individuals in recognition of outstanding contributions to the Jewish community. Eligible nominees have demonstrated their dedication to the Jewish community by working for a nonprofit organization that serves the Jewish Community. Nominees will be assessed based on criteria that include their commitment to the Jewish community, integrity, professional achievement, and innovation.

Grants of up to $7,000 to USA, Canada, and International visual artists for international exchanges with other artists. Funding is intended for travel and living expenses for mid-career artists who wish to travel abroad for creative development, access and exposure to other cultures, and more. Artists from Kansas City and the Central Plains/Midwest region of the USA receive first priority for funding.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit and for-profit organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions for research to produce lower-cost monoclonal antibodies. The purpose of the program is to make mAbs accessible to a larger market, particularly to those in low- and middle-income settings. Two streams of funding are available.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and consulting firms to conduct research on the efficacy and long-term outcomes of farm-to-school programs. Research projects should focus on broad geographic areas and equity, and should result in the publication of at least one paper in an academic journal.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International startups to participate in an accelerator program related to women's health. The purpose of the accelerator is to generate nutrition-based solutions that address women's physical and mental health. Areas of interest include food and beverage, agriculture, packaging, health and nutrition, and digital technologies.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for projects working to undo racism and promote social justice and peacemaking. Funding is intended for specific new projects in BIPOC-led organizations, with a preference for smaller organizations who may have difficulty in obtaining funding.

Grants of $10,000 to USA, Canada, and International journalists for audio and print stories addressing illegal substance use. Funding is intended to underwrite individual stories and support journalists in this field. Reports may address the science, business, policy, and culture of this new era of psychedelics.

Fellowships to USA medical students in MD or DO programs to conduct research in anesthesiology. Funding is intended to give students the opportunity to gain experience in scientific research and how to incorporate it into their medical careers. Students with US citizenship attending accredited Canadian medical schools are also eligible to apply.

Grants to USA qualifying local education agencies for general operating expenses. Funding may be used for utilities, supplies, books, teacher salaries, and administrative costs. Eligible LEAs are those who demonstrate that the Federal government has acquired partial ownership of school property since 1938.

Grants to USA local education agencies at qualifying public schools. Funding is intended to provide funds to LEAs that provide public education and that serve significant portions of children who are federally connected, including children who live on federal property or Indian lands, children with disabilities, and the children of military personnel.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations, independent researchers, for-profit entities, and academic labs to evaluate AI security. Funding is aimed at enhancing the governance and oversight of AI decision-making processes and operations to effectively manage the risks associated with AI deployment. Likewise, as AI agents gain greater autonomy and responsibility, comprehensive safety evaluation will be crucial to avoid negative outcomes and build public trust.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA students, faculty, and staff on university and college campuses for projects to address campus community needs in the wake of the 2024 presidential election. Funding is intended for projects such as service projects, media campaigns, or any other project that brings together community members of different religious or political backgrounds.

Grants of up to $2,000 to USA and Canada women artists to support ongoing projects. This year, funding may be used for works of nonfiction and poetry. The artist must have significant work already completed on the project. The funder seeks applications from feminist writers and visual artists who are women (cis, transgender, or nonbinary) and exhibit high quality in their work.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA, Canada, and International organizations and individuals for initiatives that address issues related to youth involved with armed groups. Funding is intended for a wide range of projects, including education and skill building, reconciliation efforts, and initiatives to encourage disengagement.

Grants of up to $20,000 to USA and France nonprofit arts presenting organizations for collaborative theater projects. Funding is intended to cover production-related expenses such as ravel, equipment rentals, housing, per diem, and visa fees. The purpose of the initiative is to encourage and support collaborative endeavors between French and American artists in contemporary theater, circus, puppetry, street theater, or hybrid forms.

Fellowships of $50,000 per year to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit labs, hospitals, and IHEs for postdoctoral research programs related to Fragile X syndrome. A letter of intent is required prior to submitting a full proposal. The program aims to advance studies related to a specific treatment for the disease.

The purpose of the program is to improve justice administration in courts at all levels. Funding may be requested for innovative research, education, demonstration, evaluation, training, and technical assistance projects.

Grants of up to $1,000 to USA schools, volunteers, and educators for activities to improve physical fitness and education for students. Funding is intended for trips to eligible roller skating rinks for physical education classes, educational STEM (K-12) field trips, or as part of the school's reward program. Programming must take place within roller skating rinks that are members of the Roller Skating Association.

Grants of up to $40,000 to USA, Canada, and International breast cancer research teams for early detection pilot projects. Funding is intended to support research to develop innovative techniques in the areas of immunologic or biological methods of early breast cancer detection.

Grants of $4,000 to USA and Canada grassroots groups, tribes, First Nations, and organizations to mitigate the negative impacts of mining. Priority funding is intended for projects that protect ecosystems, the environment, community health, and cultural resources from mining impacts. This includes projects that may require scientific, legal, or technical expertise.

Grants of up to $75,000 to USA state and local courts, IHEs, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, individuals, and government agencies to retain expert consulting services to address court-related challenges. Funding is intended for projects to fully understand the challenge, plan a response to the problem, and carry out the required change.

Grants of up to $30,000 to USA, Canada, and International researchers affiliated with universities and independent research organizations to investigate the benefits of massage. Funding is intended for high-quality, independent research with the potential to contribute to basic knowledge of massage therapy or its application.

Grants to Maine nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, hospitals, clinics, medical research organizations, IHEs, and other educational institutions for programs in the areas of arts and culture, medical care, and education. Applications are primarily considered from Southern Maine, while secondary priority will be given to applications benefitting other parts of the state. Other parts of New England are a low priority.
