Eligible applicants are those that operate within Kennebec Savings Bank’s service area. Kennebec Savings Bank has locations in Augusta, Farmingdale, Freeport, Waterville, and Winthrop.

Each year, the Catalyst Grant program awards funds to nonprofits to help them launch new, innovative projects that enhance their ability to serve the community.

For many nonprofits in Kennebec Savings Bank's service area, the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially challenging. To provide the kind of support most needed during this uncertain time, the 2020 Catalyst Grant program will award grants to local nonprofits who are able to demonstrate a specific need for COVID-19 relief. The purpose of the grant is to assist nonprofit organizations in offsetting financial hardships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
