Request a Grant Writer

Grants to USA education providers for healthcare professional development. Applicants must submit a preliminary application prior to submitting a full proposal. Funding is intended to educate surgeons, oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and patients about lung cancer. Priority will be given to proposals that address gaps in education in Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Mississippi. The focus area that is currently available is early non-small cell lung cancer.

The Independent Medical Education team at Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, invites accredited educational providers to submit applications for independent, certified medical education grants. As part of Genentech’s scientific mission, Genentech supports grants for independent medical education that aim to improve patient care by focusing on the improved application of knowledge, competence, and performance among healthcare professionals.

Funding Priorities:

Grant requests must identify unmet educational needs of a target audience and demonstrate how the program will address the unmet educational needs, and encourage the improvement of medicine and healthcare. The selection of medium and format should be commensurate with the educational needs, the audience, learning preferences, geography, content, and other factors that contribute to educational effectiveness. Responsibility and control over the selection, content, faculty, educational methods, materials, and venue for an independent medical education event belongs solely to the organizers of the event.
